Meet Katie Silva, one of my best friends and my little sister in my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. When you get a little brother or sister in an any organization, it is expected that you end up being friends. However, it is not always expected that you end up having the same personality and get asked in public if you are real sisters. Katie and I share many similarities, the number one being that neither of us take anything seriously (we just went to see the National Lampoon documentary together last week, I mean come on.) Take like 5 seconds to look at the portraits below and you will see what I'm talking about.
Photographing Katie's LSU senior portraits is something I've been excited for and dreading for a while now, because it just confirms that we are officially getting old. These photos are some of my favorites of all time, mostly because none are 100% serious. And because the golden hour light was on point, which y'all know is the key to my happiness on any given day.
SO CONGRATULATIONS TO KATIE FOR GRADUATING IN DECEMBER! She is going to do big things with her life (she's already worked for Disney and Oprah) and I will continue to exploit her fame for my photographic benefit every step of the way!
P.S. watch the video at the end. And share it. It needs to go viral.
