Christmastime in New Orleans with A Pinch of Lovely / Jordan Hefler

I'm so sad Christmastime is over so before it's completely irrelevant I wanted to show y'all some of my images of Krystal Faircloth of A Pinch of Lovely from a few weeks ago in New Orleans!

Krystal invited me along for a brand partnership she had in the city with Le Pavillon hotel (which claims to be one of the most haunted hotels in New Orleans, for the record.) I shot with her for 2 days and spent the night in the *haunted* historical hotel and helped create some lifestyle content for her blog! Side note- we didn't have any crazy haunting experiences but I did have a ton of trouble sleeping that night and was tossing and turning the entire time. I was either really really hot or really really cold and when I mentioned that to Krystal, she said the same thing! So who knows...

When we got there, we were able to tour the hotel, shoot a little bit by the rooftop pool (where we climbed all over stuff to get the perfect shots) and then had complimentary dinner at their bar area. This hotel has all kinds of history and definitely fit the boujee and festive flair for spending the holidays in the crescent city (obviously Krystal's outfits matched that theme, meanwhile I was going downstairs for PB&J in checkered vans and paisley pajama pants...)

The next morning they provided us with brunch in their downstairs ballroom dining area and then we shot some outfits, grabbed lunch, shopped a bit, and then my boyfriend Christian and his roommate came by to pick me up for the Sleeping with Sirens concert at the House of Blues in the French Quarter (no I didn't shoot it, I just went. I never know what to do with my hands at concerts I don't photograph lol)

I used my new Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art lens that I raved over in my previous blog post and here I am raving about it again- this lens is quickly becoming one of my new favorites to have in my bag.

Enjoy the shots below and maybe I'll finally get going on my Best of 2017 Year in Review post just in time for New Years! Hope y'all had a great Christmas!
